Cinque port town with history dating back to Roman times. Long maritime history, and two castles built by Henry VIII; Deal Castle and Walmer castle.

Deal is located in the county of Kent. Kent is known as the 'Garden of England', but also boasts many miles of coastline stretching round from the Thames estuary to East Sussex. The coast line includes the famous white cliffs of Dover.
